My name is Amanda Deyo, but most call me Panda or Pandy.

I am a stay at home momma to a crazy & sassy girl, Dahlia Rose. I am that girl with the unapproachable face that is told to smile by strangers daily. I swear more coffee takes up my body than water. I could eat chocolate all day every day if it wasn't frowned upon. I love animals and have three rambunctious dogs at home. I live for Halloween and 2000s emo music. I lived out my dream of photographing some of my favorite bands for a year and getting published. Roses and Dahlias are my favorite flowers. I married my high school sweetheart and love a good love story. I am artsy and am constantly taking up new crafty hobbies. Fall is my favorite season, but I love hot, sunny weather, but am unfortunately vampire pale.

I have always been an artsy person. From Elementary until High school I played the viola and was in the Youth Syracuse Symphony. My senior year, the opportunity of photography came up as an extra class and I immediately fell in love. After I graduated I went to college and received my Associates degree in the medical field and worked in medical billing, but it did not fulfil my artsy personality and I knew I needed more. On the side during this time I was photographing families and weddings. I have been doing photography since 2012. In 2018, my husband convinced me to quit my full time job and chase my dreams and open a studio. So I did! I own a lifestyle studio in Phoenix, NY. It is set up specifically for candid photos for families, newborns, and children. I do have backdrops for headshots & children. During the Spring through Fall I mainly do outdoor sessions but my studio is open to anyone at all times. I photograph outdoor sessions during golden hour or overcast days for best results. I will travel if you wish! I specialize in family, maternity, newborns, children, love stories & boudoir.

I have taken the Milkyway Retreat for Newborns that goes over extensive tools for posing, wrapping and safety of your newborn. I have also mentored with Torrent Photography for newborn sessions. I have also taken the Milkyway Family Retreat.
